The newly renovated Creative Discover Museum in Chattanooga is recognized as one of the premier hands-on children's museums in the country. Visitors of all ages will want to spend the day exploring the hands-on, interactive gallery exhibits. Splash in the water and learn about the Tennessee River in River Play, dig for bones at the Excavation Station, explore weights and pulleys on the Rooftop Fun Factory, or create movies in the Performing Arts Gallery.
While CDM is designed for children from toddlers through 10 years, parents will also find plenty to keep them amused. Now through February 1st, enjoy the Helping Hands Winter Exhibit. Entrance is $8.95 ($6.95 for military personnel), or buy a package ticket that includes admission to the museum, the Tennessee Aquarium, and one IMAX movie for $32.95 per adult or $24.95 per child over age 2.
